A bad teacher makes for a better student,

So see the Spirit in the two.

Sometimes a good teacher will tell you

To hide your work until it’s time for you.

I like total Immersion,

And then Emergence,

Delving into the Depths.

Be involved to be Evolved.

Play so you can be serious.

Perhaps you have changed as a person

And done something no one has ever done.

That takes you off the grid of mediocrity

And made the discovery of

What you are capable of.

Efforts with no expectation of return

Will enhance you.

Nothing happens for you,

Unless it’s from you.

The strength to be happy, independent and free–

When your teachers committed to let your minds be.

Maybe we couldn’t be protected

From experiencing broken dreams.

We still may think, Happiness isn’t in the cards for me.

The things I want don’t come true.

Well, I’m stronger doing without….

Downers are street cred in the school of hard knocks.

Teachers regret those, but they should applaud.
