Muscle Poems

Revenge of the Heard

By and by a woman who writes love poems to men

Rock, paper, scissors

Hook, line and sinker

You must be so familiar

But I’ve never seen nothing stranger

Than you crying over me.

Enough Love to last a lifetime through.

Because we will suffer

So perfectly together.

I’ll never know how much

Because I’m so in love with you.

I’d like if you’d say rock,

Instead of stone.

I’d like if you’d say Yes,

Instead of No

Because we could suffer

So perfectly together

Because we love each other so.

Lives are better joined like scissors

Joined at the hip and cut clean.

Together,

It’s only better

Because we both know what we mean.

We suffer so well together,

Because we both know what we mean.

If I see your potential,

I see mine too.

You always pick me up with paper

And surrender me to glue.

There’s a method to my madness

Take scissors, paper, rock

Crush sand, dust, salt

It’ll never be your fault

If it feels like it’s your turn to walk

Just throw a paper, scissors, rock

As we will suffer together

From just the thought

Paper, take over!

Scissors, cut the tension, please.

Or we’ll suffer sometimes as enemies

But we’ll love it,

Because we both know what we mean

Hook, line and sinker,

Scissors, paper, rock

We play in Infinity,

And for the depths of the Sea

Forever suffer, forever suffer with me,

Even be my enemy.

Let it be my fault, until I draw paper

And you draw rock

Until I draw my last hand too

There is nothing to match

My love for you.
