Muscle Poems

Revenge of the Heard

By and by a woman who writes love poems to men

I hit the blank page on the wall

Better unite us as a bathroom stall

Would you mind if I told you,

I don’t care about the Concert Hall?

I want you and that is all.

Standing there in the dim lit room

We go together like a bride and groom

How do I step from where I am to there?

As I walk, our journey of love

Flooded my visions, and you just stared.

Dying to meet you, dying to run

This is the moment to wake up to

I’m afraid, but there’s nothing to lose

As so great as my attraction to you.
