Yes, the pictures detail
acknowledgment.
Of the ones I’m in,
I really do
know all of it.
We all have different color eyes.
I am ultimately the man present.
At my breast is a wealth of information.
My ears can hear the rest.
I only benefit the awakening of this nation.
But I cannot save it.
They, yes, this is the they
They talked about.
The one-day crew.
Times, like witnessing the face of the Roman Empire.
History, proceeding them down the line, to the hilt.
Then I am here. I am here and I’m really felt.
Now, God
I know beautiful.
Though a circuitous route
Is in the workings
The black seam being woven in this world,
A straight shooter like myself
Can see bigger meanings in the lies
Like boulders lodged in art
Or cunning in plain sight.
I’ve been here
But this is like never before.
Yes, there is justice.
But I never get too wrapped up in it.
Peace without justice, I already see people and their ability to muster it.
I like to see important distractions through.
I see the tempting attempt of these, they, those,
To hang on a word to lighten up, although numbered are their days.
I simply make notes, calculations on the page.
Even so, it seems those moments of glee and veiled scorn
Are their depleting bank accounts,
Running thin and getting old.
