The wish fulfilling jewel
Infinity danced
With a far away moon.
He leapt into an ocean
Ruffled the waves’ cocoons
It’s reflection revealed
It was only a lake,
Asleep at last
The chase of the wind
Missed him like a balloon.
He sat there wandering
And surprisingly wondering
Is there a heartbeat
Out of tune?
The spoiled please
They endanger your life
The wish fulfilling jewel
Will cut you like a knife
Love is no deeper than a sonnet
Adorned by adoration
The ideal is teased
True Love a bonnet
The spoiled, please.
The wish fulfilling my jewel
Ruffling the feathers of his hair
He sat not pondering.
He left out the affair.
His jewel was wishing
He would run
Back to the lake,
Like Narcissus
Who was told to eat cake.
The spoil pleased him
Next day she ran him off
Never tell a jewel
Because she will tell you
To fuck off.
